How to play Pickstand

How Pickstand works

Pickstand is built around the English Premier League season. You make one gameweek entry by predicting match outcomes and choosing three footballers. The same score counts in the global competition and in every Pickstand league you belong to.

Predict Premier League matches

Choose Home, Draw or Away for the fixtures you want to play. Allocate 5, 10 or 15 virtual points from a 50-point matchweek wallet, with no more than 20 points across all markets on one fixture. Some verified fixtures also offer additional prediction markets.

Multipliers determine the return for a correct pick. For example, a correct 10-point prediction at 1.80× returns 18 virtual points. An incorrect prediction returns zero. These are game mechanics only; Pickstand does not accept real-money bets.

Use your BOOST

BOOST is optional. You can apply one BOOST to an eligible completed pick at 3.0× or below. If the prediction is correct, BOOST doubles the full return; if it is wrong, the pick still returns zero.

Choose your Three Stars and Lead Star

Build a Three Stars selection within 22 Star Credits: one Backline, one Midfield and one Attack player, each from a different club. Then choose one of those players as your Lead Star. The Lead Star earns 2× player points under the current game rules.

Star points come from verified match events. Three Stars choices and ownership remain hidden until their applicable locks, protecting the fairness of the competition.

Gameweek deadlines

Each fixture closes five minutes before its own kickoff. This means a Saturday match can lock while Sunday predictions remain open. Unused wallet points remain available for eligible fixtures, then expire for zero points when the matchweek ends.

Compete in leagues with friends

Create a private Premier League prediction league for friends or join a public Pickstand league. You never need to make separate picks for each league: your canonical gameweek score feeds every table you join.

Live scores and season rankings

During live matches, Pickstand shows provisional prediction returns, Three Stars points and rank movement. Results remain provisional until official data is settled. Final scores build your season position on The Table.
